Green Ixworth has long campaigned for a bridge across the A143 and argued it should be green enough to enable not just humans but wildlife to cross the road safely as well. Just before writing this, I looked out of my window to see a pair of hares on the field soon to be the Persimmon Estate, whilst a red kite circled over-head. We need to continue our fight for a bridge and why not a green one?
